Doctor Badertscher
(Doctor Jan)

There are two types of physicians in the United States. DOs and MDs are both fully-qualified physicians licensed to prescribe medication and perform surgery – but DOs bring something extra to the practice of medicine.

DOs combine today’s medical technology with their ears to listen caringly to their patients, with their eyes to see each patient as a whole person, and with their hands to diagnose and treat patients for injury and illness

The DO approach to medicine:

“Whole person approach”
Focus on “Preventive health care”.
“Extra training in the musculoskeletal system
“Osteopathic manipulative treatment” (OMT).

With OMT, Osteopathic physicians use their hands to diagnose illness and injury and to encourage your body’s natural tendency toward good health.

Dr. Jan E. Badertscher, D.O. is an Osteopathic physician. Dr. Jan completed her medical school training at Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada.
